Talossa Aid is a membership driven independent
non-government, charitable aid organisation.
(to be) established under all applicable laws
of the Kingdom of Talossa.
Mission
• The Mission of Talossa Aid is to provide support and financial assistance to local and world wide initiatives that will benefit poor and marginalised peoples of the world. For and on behalf of concerned Citizens of The Kingdom of Talossa.
The Aim and Purpose of the Organisation is
• To provide for poor and marginalised people in communities throughout the world.
• Make grants for charitable public purposes that promote the mission of Talossa Aid and reflect the ideals of the Kingdom of Talossa.
Values
• Compassion - we are committed to being sensitive,
understanding and caring in our service of each other
and all people.
• Integrity - we are committed to being honest, accountable,
transparent and just in all our work and relationships.
• Respect - we are committed to treating each person as
we expect to be treated, offering love, acceptance and a
voice of support in the face of life’s challenges.
• Perseverance - we are committed to being the very best
we can be, finding effective, creative and environmentally
responsible ways to fulfil our mission.
• Celebration - we are committed to recognising and
celebrating the efforts and achievements of The Citizens of Talossa our members, supporters and the people we help.
• Human Right and Anti Discrimination - ( im hoping for input on the wording for this the most imprtant value statemnt)
Matters of Governance
Talossa Aid will be governed by an Executive of 3(?) and will be answerable to a general membership and accountable to the Citizens of Talossa.
All proceeds received will go to charitable aid purposes. The expectedly very small costs of administration would be met by members of the board personally. Unless a specific public request for donation of funds for administrative or other non charitable expenses for a particular project is made.
Membership would be granted on a basis to be agreed upon for a small yearly membership fee these funds could only be used for charitable purposes.

Investigation of Suitable Patron
Seek legal opinion regarding receiving of donations
Investigate suitable financial procedures including any necessary pay pal or bank accounts.
Our first four Provisional Special Aid Projects we would aim to commit ourselves to in our first 12 months
1. Support for Tibet?
2. Support for a project within the GTA
3. www.kiva.org which allows you to donate funds to low-risk micro-loans to help aspiring entrepreneurs in poor and/or underdeveloped areas to get their business ventures' off the ground?
